I am looking for information on Thomas Masson who married Elizabeth Yule 23 Dec 1781. Their daughter, Elizabeth Masson b. May 06, 1784 is my ancestor. Some records state they were married in Rathan, Aberdeen.
I am also trying o find the daughter Elizabeth's (b.1784) marriage to William Greig 9born around 1775) in Peterhead, Aberdeen. Their gravestones indicate that they were born in Crimond and Peterhead respectively., I do not know if they were married in Scotland or Canada.
Any information about this family name or area would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks
Gail |

Managed to find up to James Campbell and Christian Hunter m Dunfermline, Fife 29th March 1806. A lot of the family resided in this region and it is believed that Archibald Campbell is residing in the Kelty, Fife regions.
Adeline 'Ada' Campbell is, hopefully still alive and was born in 1933 having been educated in Kelty. Whereabouts are unknown at present but contact would be appreciated. Any information prior to James Campbell and Christian Hunter would also be appreciated. Would love to hear from any of the descendants. I am a proud Scottie and am mainly looking for my genealogical background although, as previously said, would love communications with those still living. |
