| I am seeking information about William RUSSELL who was born in Sterlingshire, Scotland, 7 Jan 1820. He married Margaret DUNCAN 20 Apr 1840 in Clackmannan. They came to America about 1852-53. They had children: Margaret b 1841; William b 1843; Helen b 1845; Duncan b 1847 (our descendant); Daniel 1851; Catherine b 1851; Ellen/Helen b 1851 and then 3 children born in America. William had a brother named Daniel who married Elizabeth Duncan - they also came to America. William was an iron worker. Letters were written from Scotland to our relatives in the 1950-60's by: Jessie Rankin; Strang family members; Fergus Osborne; Nell Scotland Tarleton; Elsie Tarleton Osborne. Does anyone know of any connections?? |

hi,
i am trying to find any information on
john robertson born about 1863 in scotland, he was one of triplets,
he came to sheffield england and married ellen damms, in 1884,
i have no idea what the other two children were called, but one of them went to canada and one stayed in scotland and became a jeweller.
i know there is not much to go on but thought some one may know of john ,
any help would be welcome

I am trying to trace my partners father.She knows his name is John HAMILTON her mother Helen Forest fell pregnant to him in EDINBURGH IN 1967.
Her name is DEBORAH and she is now 39 years old.
After falling pregnant HELEN moved to INNERLIETHEN and DEBORAH was born in PEEBLES.
JOHN HAMILTON would now be in his late 60s or 70s .
He has 3 grandchildren that he doesnt even know about .
