Hi, I am looking for an Agnes Taylor, possibly born around 1926 near or in Falkirk. She is my mother's cousin and they used to write to each other back in the 1940's and 50's. My mother is still alive and we are hoping so is Agnes. Her father's name may have been Alexander Taylor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you and take care,
Stephanie |

I am the granddaughter of Helen Whyte Bow,born Scotland 1878
I believe she had several relatives who went to the USA to live. Could the John Bow born 1882 or 1883, Helen's brother, be the same John Bow who arriv New York Mar 14,1907 from
Glasgow on ship Furnessia. Destination listed was Montreal. Other Bows who may be relatives could be William Bow born 1848, arriv USA 1884 at age 36, Jane Bow born 1852 went to Delaware. Please contact me if you have any information ab out the Bow family.

I am trying to trace the SON of a Mary McEwan, born during World War 2, probably either in Renfrewshire or Lanarkshire in Scotland. His father was a German POW named Martin Ruben, his parents never married, so his last name will most likely be McEwan. After the death of his mother in Busby in 1988, he went to England. He's related to me, any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks! |

Roderick McDonald |
Bendigo Australia |
Mar 25, 2008 |
In 1950 Sheena Taylor aged 19 migrated to Quebec from Broughty Ferry Dundee with her parents Hugh and Ann McDonald Taylor. Sheena's Mother Ann McDonald's family had migrated to Australia in 1925 and no contact was ever made with her parents, Sheena's Grandparents, or Uncles/Cousins from that time. Now her cousin Roderick McDonald in Australia has found the passenger list from 1950 and looks to make contact with Sheena or any family of hers if she married in Canada. Born in Glasgow in 1930 she would be 78 if still in Quebec or another location in Canada. There are many Australian family members who have been searching for years for some information on the
Taylors. Her Father Hugh was an Advertising Executive with the Glasgow Herald and may have joined a Quebec newspaper in 1950.Can you help?
