Searching for family of CHRISTINA HYNDS SIMPSON. Married John Simpson (steel wheel maker) in Blythswood Glasgow 24th June 1932. Their usual residence was listed as 21 Abernethy Street, Glasgow. This was a second marriage and we think there may have been children. I believe she died in 1966. Would really like to hear from anyone connected with or having any information about the family.
Thanks

I am trying to find out what happened to my mother inlaw's father. His name DANIEL MARTIN born 3 May 1897 Calton Glasgow, parents Robert Martin and Elizabeth White. In the 1901 Census he had a brother Robert and 2 sisters Elizabeth and Mary. He married Christina Hynds Brown in 1920 his occupation was listed as iron driller and address was 4 Weaver Street, Glassgow. They had 2 daughters Christine and Elizabeth. Daniel and Christina divorced in abt 1928 and the children were fostered. They had no more contact with their father. Elizabeth is now 87 and wonders what happened to Daniel. If anyone thinks they might have some information about Daniel it would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Hi, looking for anyone who knows or knew George Thomson born in Scotland in 1914 to a Robert Thomson. Don't know his mother's name, but George had a sister Christina Thomson who died in Edinburgh at aged 36yrs in 1949. George was a qualified Chef and lived at 13 North Tce Newcastle and worked in at Tilley's Cafe/Restaurant also in Newcastle in late 1930's, until WW11 and then he joined the Royal Navy as a Seaman and worked on naval ships as a Chef. At the end of the war, he returned to Newcastle and lived at 248 Hamilton St Newcastle (Arthur's Hill area). It is not known if he married after the war or even if he had children. If anyone knows anything at all would love to hear from you. Thank you
