Apr 15, 2009 hello, can anyone help me find a May Bell born in Edinburgh in December 1928, who was married to Stephen Davanna and the John Lees, she might have remarried again not sure, she had 4 children that i know of, but might have had more. Last known in Edinburgh in the 1950's then dont know what happened to her she could be in Uk or Abroad can anyone please help, been looking for about 20 years but cannot find thanks Sandra Reply to this message   Leonie Australia Mar 22, 2009 My g.grandfather's Australian marriage certificate says he was born in Dunbarton in 1864. His name was William Bradshaw, his parents Thomas Bradshaw and Eliza Rosborough. (These two were married in Ireland in 1860). CAn anyone tell me if I can find this sort of record on the net, and if not how I should go about finding it??? Greta Whittall ( nee Emondson) born 1909 Barrow-in-Furness, left or was kicked out of the family home due to a crises not known as my stepfather was only four years old, never heard from or saw her again, knows nothing of her family, just really trying to find what become of his mother during the time she went, her birth certificate states William Edmondson b: 1888 as her father, Angelina Edmondson ( nee Harvey) as mother. 1911 census shows her as an only child at that time aged two, living at 89, Smeaton Street, Cumbria. it is thought that she may have went to London or Scotland, could have remarried had more children whatever. recently learned that Greta may have had a sister Edna born 1912, who married an Edward Burns 1931, and they had a son called Willian b: 1934. I was in contact with a very kind lady who sent us info of Greta's past ancestors, but lost contact due to computer collapse. any info of Greta's wherabouts after she left the family home would be much appreciated. Parents names unknown. Would like info. G-father is Thomas Waldrum b. Feb 3 1895 came to Canada May 1913. Has relatives still living in Tay Valley I believe.
