I am looking for Jenny Millen (nee McPhearson)- she may be remarried with a different name by now. I am her son, born Dec 1970 in Dunfermline Scotland. I have not seen her since 1983. I am trying to find out if she is interested in getting to know her three grandchildren. Any information gratefully received.

I am trying to help ,someone find there birth mother who left when she was young.
(She seems to think her mum is living in Glasgow)
Her (maiden) name is Lavinia Casey and I believe she has just turned seventy.
Her daughter Caroline is 50.

Looking for family.My grandfather JOHN WHITEFORD DUNLOP b. 22nd.March,1879, maybe born at Kilmarnock or Fenwick, the son of Milk-Ayrshire breeder, James Dunlop Esq, J.P., Gree and Ladeside. Gree Farm. James Dunlop had been a tenant farmer before purchasing his own property. He had brothers William and James and two sisters, one may have been Nancy. John did his primary education at Kilmarnock Academy then managed three of his father's farms and acted as butter maker in their creamery. His younger brother eventually took his place and he went to college. John went to Glasgow University,London University College, Dairy School of Scotland and British Dairy Institute. He received the British Dairy Farmers Associations Diploma with medal for top place and the National Diploma with second place.

The Junior and Senior Certificate in Dairying of the Glasgow and West of Scotland College of Agriculture
Champion Butter-maker of Scotland
Reserve Champion Butter-maker of the World's Contest London 1904
Late Expert to the Highland and Agricultural Society and The Wilts County Council etc etc

In 1904 he was instructor in cheese making for the Wilts County Council. In 1906 he was investigating bacteriology with regard to milk and cheese in the County of Somerset. He then went to Spain to act as advisor to the government re the erection of large milk depots in Spain. John managed the estate of a Senator Trevilla who had a large estate in the North of Spain for a time. He then travelled through Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Ireland and England.

John travelled to different states in Australia
married a Buchanan and had James Buchanan, Jean and Nea. James and Jean now in their 80s are still alive. James had children Roslyn, John and Shirley. (only Shirley is alive). Jean had Sandra, Russell and Janice. Nea had Bruce and Diane. John worked variously as a machinery expert and convenience store proprietor before settling into property at Kuraby, pre-war (outside Brisbane) and growing flowers for sale in his florist shop in the city of Brisbane called Dunlop Florists.He passed away almost 90.

My name is maggie and I am looking for my younger sister janet, when we were younger we were fostered by a family called souter living at 4 northcoavesea terrace in lossiemouth morayshire, I grew up there and went to lossie high school I left the foster home when I was 16yrs old,and as I am aware janet stayed on there. A lot of time has gone past and I would dearly love to see my sister again,she is now in her early 40's please if anyone knows where she is I would be eternally greatful thank you

Looking for my Uncle, John McAvoy dob 19/9/1934. He lived at 35 Commercial Road, Glasgow, Scotland. Also lived in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow. Mothers Name Annie(nee Crosbie) Fathers name John McAvoy. He had two brothers, James and Charles(Char). He was married to Margaret, and one of their daughters was called Linda dob 10/1/1957. They lived at 43 Vesalius Street, Shettleston, Glasgow, Scotland. They emigrated to Australia Late 1950-1960 on an assisted passage. We think they went to New South Wales. Margaret died of Leukaemia, so John could have remarried. anyone with any information please get in touch.
