My mother, born in 1914 in Glasgow, was adopted at age 4. We're trying desperately to find information on her biological parents. Her father was John Breadie of Milngavie who was a cousin of John Alfred Breadie, mayor of Milgnavie. Her mother was Helen Kilgour Smith of Glasgow who also had a son, Hector. He married Helen Dunnachie of Bellshill and we believe they had a daughter. We'd love photos of my mother's family! Any information, however, would be so very much appreciated. Thank you!! Born in the 1920s, and was in the Navy when young. He married Jean Stirrat in Edinburgh in 1952. They had two children, Rosalind (Lyn) and Paul. Was told that he may have changed his name to MALONEY. Was last known living in London and had remarried. Would dearly love to find him, or know of him. I have lived in Australia for 16 years. I don't have much information, but our Father was Fred Barnes. Would love them or anyone who knows them to get in touch. Catherine is married but I don't know her married name and has at least one daughter who would be between 19 and 21 yrs old. Would love to hear from them. Was born June 30th 1930 in Wool, Dorset, UK. Spent some time with my Dad in Belfast when young. Married 16 th December 1955 in Paddington, Lo9ndon to the late Talib Hussein Mohammed El-Shabib.
