My name is Annette Mac Donald, and I'm trying to locate any family members of my late father his name was PETER Mc GARITY LOUDEN he was born in Scotland 12/08/1917. He was one of 7 children their names were Jimmy Samuel Lizzy Jessie Flora and Jeanie. theirn fathers name was Samuel and their mothers I think was Jean. My father and mother lived in 49 Ardgowan street Port Glascow befor we went to live in Australia in June 1953. My father married Marea Silver on the 15/6/1939 they had 3 children born in Scotland their names wer Samuel Marea Annette. Dad's brother Samuel was 2 youngest and married with at least 2 daughters their names were Elenor and possibly Fiona they left Scotland to live in England about the time we went to Australia. They may have lived in Woodhall near Glascow. Jessie dad's sister moved to America in the early 50's she married a Colhoune (not sure of the spelling) they had a daughter named Jessie. If any one can help me find my lost relatives I would appreciate your help. All the information I have is over ten years old: her husband is Kevin McGowan; they have a son called Daniel who must be about 13 or 14 now I think (I do not know if they had more children); the last address I have for her is Parkhead Avenue, Edinburgh. I never knew her exact age, but think she is in her late thirties now. If anyone has any information that may help me find her I would greatly appreciate it. My father married Marea Silver we moved to Australia in 1953 I have a brother called Samuel and a sister called Marea. I would be greatfull for any information. Reply to this message   catherine mcghie liverpool Aug 02, 2002 desperately looking 4 any inmformation on Ian Arthur Mcghie born 22/12/1922 went to Hamilton Academy school . APPROX in the mid 1930.S also play football 4 proessionially 4 Hamilton befor war broke out in 1939 he was in black watch serving in the middle east but was captured by the japs and impisoned by them for 4yrs . I am is daughter born 30/6/1963 name catherine Mcghie he worked as an electriation after the war i had contact with him untill i was 2half yrs old i had contact with him when i was 16 2 times but was not aware of is death until 3 weeks after he died in blackpool i know i am is only daughter please help me if u can give any information i would be so so grateful to hear from you please reply if any info Reply to this message   Deborah Reilly Livingston Jul 31, 2002 I am looking for an old friend, named Scott Robertson. He lived in the Ruchazie area of Glasgow for many years, and has moved since. He had a sister Diane, a brother Stephen and another brother whom i think was Stuart. My mom was born in Troon Scotland on 11/11/1921. Her parents were Jeanie Presant, born in Glasgow Scotland in 1891,Jeanie's father was J or M McCormick. Eva's father was Bert Charles Presant, born in Yarmouth England in 1894. Their last known address in Scotland was: 9 Barasie Street, Troon Scotland. Sandy Greer was a Manager in John Brown's Shipyard in Clydebank....had one son...Alexander possibly also called Sandy.....any information would be appreciated........Dates could possibly be around 1920's to possibly 1950's.........
