I was born in Simpson Memorial Mertenity Hospital in Edinburgh. I am now 13 and want to hear from u dad.I meet my dad once when i was 8 but then he left and all contact from then has failed. I am looking for James Main ( Jim) he lived in Doon Ave in Prestwick unitl 1979, his parents were Thomas And Jean Main. He will be in his late forties now. His family may have moved to Bourtreehill are in Irvine. Jim worked for Afton Electrics in the Main St , Ayr and may have had a part time job in a BP garage in Prestwick.If anyone cam help any information would be greatly appreciated.

2. JOHN A2 CAMPBELL (WILLIAM1) was born December 28, 1858 in Gore of Lochaber, Thurso, Quebec, and died May 03, 1939 in Cochrane, ON Canada. He married ISABELLA ELLEN MCCORMICK, daughter of MICHAEL MCCORMICK and BARBARA MCKENZIE. She was born June 10, 1862 in Gore of Lochaber, Quebec, and died June 04, 1918 in Cochrane, ON Canada.

The Northland Post, May 1939
John A. Campbell, one of Cochrane's older pioneers, passed away in the Lady Minto Hospital after a short illness on Wed. May the third. The deceased was born in Thurso, Quebec the son of Mr. & Mrs William Campbell formerly of Glasgow, Scotland, 81 years ago. Much of his life was spent in Parry Sound. In 1911 he moved to Cochrane and has lived here ever since. His wife Isabel McCormick of Thurso, predeceased him twenty years ago. Surviving him are a son, Jack of Red Lake, a daughter, Mrs. Alice TenEycke, and nine grand children. The funeral service took place quietly at the home of his daughter, Friday May 5th. Interment was made in the Cochrane Cemetery.

i. MALINDA ELIZABETH3 CAMPBELL, b. June 04, 1882, Gore/Lochaber, Thurso, Quebec; d. February 02, 1910, Montreal; m. JOHN BENJAMIN DAVIS, June 17, 1903, Thurso Baptist, Thurso, Quebec; b. Abt. 1870, Quebec, Canada. Malinda Campbell Davis' wedding record and daughter's birth both list her as Merinda.
ii. ALICE MABEL CAMPBELL, b. January 09, 1884, Gore/Lochaber, Thurso, Quebec; d. May 1972; m. ANDREW HAINES TENEYCK; b. May 08, 1884, Parry Sound, ON Canada; d. August 08, 1939, Cochrane, ON Canada. Census: 1891, Mary Allyce Mabel Campbell
