Seeking ex-staff of the Royal Air Force Hospital, Ely, Cambridgeshire. A website has been dedicated to all ex-staff of the RAF Hospital Ely, to enable members to find lost friends, discuss memories and view photographs, communicate privately or through the group notice board. | Looking for information on my grandfather James Cunningham born 1904 probably in Scotland. His father was Andrew Cunningham and his mother Mary Cunningham. James or Jim was killed in a coal mining accident in 1934. He also had brothers and sisters - Buster, Andrew, Robert, Ellen, and one unknown. |

DAVIE/SNEDDON/HOLLINSWORTH
Does anyone have links to Davie family. My father's first wife - married Jan 28th 1921 Maryhill Lanark was Matilda Davie. whose address on a copy of the Marriage Registry is given as 95 Avenue....(four letters are illegible) Street, Glasgow. Her parents are listed as James Davie Ironmoulder and Matilda Davie (nee Kane) Witnesses were Ann Davie and Peter McBeth. My father was James Sneddon of 900 Yoker Road, Yoker and his occupation at the time of his mariage was given as Clerk Glasgow Parish Council. His parents were James Sneddon a shipwright foreman, and Isabella McKean Hollinsworth. James and Matilda had a son born November 3rd 1921 and Matilda died either at that date or soon after. Can anyone confirm date of death and cause? And, does anyone have any further details or links to the Davie family?
