My mother was born in Scotland or North of England in 1934.Birth name Margaret Broun or Brown - her mothers name Emily or Emilene
Broun or Brown. My mother had older siblings possibly 3 girls youngest of these being about 10 years older than my mother. My mother was brought to Australia about 1937 and adopted here by Elizabeth McLaughlin in 1940. Elizabeth McLaughlin was related to the Banks family of Tranent Scotland. |

My name is Gail Fleming. I am trying to find my cousins PETER, NEIL, LAURA AND SUSAN HALLAM. They lived in MOUNT VERNON near Glasgow in the early to mid sixties but then moved to London. Their mother's name is Betty (nee MINNOCK)and I know she worked at Gatwick Airport. Betty kept in touch with my brother Derek, who unfortunately died last year. I do not think she knows this which is one of the reasons I would like to contact her and her family.

| Looking for information on the Mc Kinlay family in Orkney. Also the Stevenson family. My gg grandfather William Stevenson was born in Kirkwall abt 1847. His sister Elizabeth was born in Edinburgh abt 1857 the same year the family arrived in Australia. I know that Jessie (Janet) McKinlay was born in Orkney, but I am not sure if the father John was. Jessie Mckinlay put her mothers name as Agnes, but I have only been able to come up with a Jane Kennedy marrying a James McKinlay |

I am looking for information on the Dunn, and Boyd families from Selkirk. James Dunn and his wife Agnes Boyd arrived in Australia on board the Northumberland in 1855. They travelled with daughter Isabella, Son's George and James.
