Thomas Smiley 1, possibly a McPherson, had a son
Thomas 2, believed to have migrated to Ireland, may have been a McPherson, up to that time, and became a Smiley in Ireland, where he died. Children Francis, John, came to America. Anyone knowing of any information on the first Thomas, would be greatly appriciated. His daughter Rose, stayed in Scotland with him. |

I'm trying to locate my grandmothers sister. I know her address, and name in full. But, I do not have a phone number to try and contact her. I don't even know if she is still alive. Is there anyone out there that can help me? Is there somewhere I can look for her, being that I live in Australia, it's not easy. Are there people that can do a search for me and find her?

I am looking for ancestors of the following:
James Suttie (regular soldier for the Seaforth Highlanders) he married Elizabeth Borthwick (housemaid) they came from Ladybank, Fife.
James had a brother that went to Ireland (I am not sure if it was for a visit or to live) he won a medal for sharpshooting.
James and Elizabeth had two children that I know of;
James Suttie (Gardener)(m) Euphemia Sheddon Stark Cunningham (cook)

John Stark was an ironworker in Carron Scotland, he married Isabella Flocker Cunningham in 18??.
They had 8 children;
Margaret (m) Peter Taylor
Euphemia (m) James Suttie
John (m) Rose Ingles
Elizabeth (spinster)
Isabella (m) John McKay
Janet (m) ?
Mary (m) George Gilespie and
Williamina (m) George Price

| i`m looking for the whyte/white family .my great great grandfather was . charles white. of north scotland. he was born in edinborough october 6/1820 he lived in scotland and england for thirty years. he was a machinist . he was united in marriage oct. 6 1845 to marian white also from scotland . they were married in liverpool england in st johns church my grandmother was born oct.16 1822 in the parish kirklesto county of linlithgow. any info would be great . anita feller |

hello, I am looking for an old friend ally sheddon, we worked together at the standing order pub in george street when it first opened five years ago, the pub was a j d wetherspoon on george street edinburgh. his family have a farm i believe, but he had a flat in leith, he also had a girlfriend named shonna ( i think thats how you spell it). ally moved to england and was working at a company in chester but then moved to live in london, the last time i saw him was about four years ago, when he visited us at a pub in hammersmith which we were running called the hammersmith ram, he and shonna were now living in london and were in the middle of buying a property at hampstead london. we left to live in spain and have lost contact, anybody who knows where he is or how we can contact him and shonna , we would appreciate it very much

| I am trying to find information about my Grandmother. Her maiden name was Jane Wood Reid, she was born in 1887 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She married Thomas Reynolds who died in the first world war they had 3 sons, Frances, Henry & John. She then married James Dunn and had 2 more sons, James & Robert. Does anyone have any information that might help me as I am drawing blanks everywhere I look. |
