I am seeking information regarding JOHN LIGERTWOOD who came from Aberdeen and was born about 1936.
He joined the RAF as an apprentice on 20 January 1953 and graduated as a Junior Technician, Electrical Fitter (A) in December 1955. He was a Corporal at RAF Cottesmore 1959-1961 and was last heard of at RAF Acklinton in the early 60's.
He is the only member of our small group who's whereabouts are unknown. It is our 50th anniversary this year and it would be nice to know what happened to John Ligertwood (Mac).
Regards, Wilf.

I would like to make contact with any Wallaces

Thank you in anticipation, Vivienne.

Monte A Springer California, USA Jan 08, 2003
My beautiful and precious son has been parentally abducted from the state of California. His name is John Florence Springer and is 7 years old. His mother and I have been separated for 5 years now. She has stolen my son, my pride and joy. In July of 2002, immediately after attending a custody hearing, she got in a taxi, picked up our son from daycare, and headed for the airport. I was informed second hand that the police traced the cab to the airport. Several days later a letter was received by her mother, postmarked from the U.K., remarking that she did not intend to return and would possibly contact a family member in about a year’s time. It is absolutely unfathomable that the person I shared 20 years of my life with would do such a thing. Not only has she stolen from me, more importantly, she has stolen from my son. This situation is out of control. Parental child abductions committed by a mother in California are not taken very seriously. Within the last month, I have discovered that the authorities on my end have not even made a phone call to try to locate them based on leads provided them by me. Naturally, this is the short version. For this reason, I am enlisting the help of all that are willing to help me re-unite with my son.
Prior to the time of abduction, my son’s right thumb had been broken in three places and the thumbnail was missing, He goes by the name of Flurry and is thin built with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a birthmark on his lower back. Approximately ½ of the area of his lower back is of a darker skin pigmentation of no particular shape.
His mother went by the name of Kathleen Marie Sullivan-Springer. She is 40 years old and has long wavy brown hair with blue eyes. She is of light complexion with numerous broken blood vessels about her upper chest. She is 5’6” tall and about 165 pounds in weight. They are both of American citizenship and have never resided outside of California. Photographs can be seen by visiting: http://www.gomcs.org/usa/0198-usa.htm

Help Please. I am searching for my ancestors.
My grandfather was Charles MacKay, born Sept. 04/1888. He was one of seven children born to John and Betsy MacKay. John MacKay was a missionary for the Free Presbyterian Church and he died on March 11, 1913
My grandfather's siblings were named Phillip, Georgina, Peter, Johan, Jean and Hugh.
Charles married Barbara MacLeod, born August 10. 1887. Her parents were Charles and Jessie MacLeod and her siblings were named Jessie, Roderick Alec and Willy-John.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

GIBBONS/ROWAN:
I am looking for information or families related (on either side) to MARGARET GIBBONS and MICHAEL ROWAN, who married in Maryhill Scotland November 30, 1877. They had three children before emigrating to the US, finally settling in Ohio. I believe the ROWANs were Irish. MICHAEL ROWAN'S father was DENNIS ROWAN, mother ELLEN--?. MARGARET GIBBON'S father was MICHAEL GIBBONS.
If anything sounds familiar, I can be reached at SmokyRN@yahoo.com

I am looking for any information on McDougall or Campbell. The following is the only information that I have:

Great-Grandfather: James Campbell, born approx.1865, married Jane McDougall and lived on King St. Pollockshaws, Glasgow, Scotland until they immigrated to Canada in 1920. As far as I can tell had 8 children(all born in Scotland). Also has a sister - Janet Campbell, who was married to James Gowland and they also immigrated to Canada, date unknown. I am trying to find any descendants/relatives, since I do not know if there were any other brothers or sisters, etc.

Great-Grandmother: Jane McDougall, born approx.1866 in Paisley, Scotland. Married James Campbell, and immigrated to Canada in 1920. Once again I have no information on any family which remained in Scotland, or of her parents/other family members.

Any information/assistance in helping me find out our family history, as well, if there are family members(descendants) would be appreciated.
