| I have hit the proverbial 'brick wall' in searching for the birth of my g.grandfather James Robertson in about 1851, I have his wedding in 1879 and I have the wedding in 1838 of his father John Robertson (my g.g.grandfather), I also have the correct entry in the 1881 census of James Robertson but I cannot find his birth. All entries are Old Machar, Aberdeen. Any advice greatly appreciated. |

| I am searching for family of Lewis and Christina Smith who came to USA in 1869. They were born in Kinglassey, Fifeshire Co., Scotland in 1834 and 183? Christina had been married to a Howie and had a son John Howie. I found him listed on the ship Iowa from Glasgow to New York in 1869. They had a brother or uncle Joseph Smith who was a famous stone bridge builder. Christina's husband fought in the Crimean War. |

| JOHN BELL SPENCE ARMSTRONG - This is my grandfather's name. He left my grandmother Mary Rebecca Armstrong to live with someone else and had a child approximately 34 years ago give or take a couple of years. I believe she may have been born in Ayrshire but i am not sure. She did have contact with my great uncle Anthony Armstrong. If you think you are my half-aunt then i would love to get in touch. My mother said that she went to see you when you were born and that i was a babe in arms is this you? |

| Hi I am looking for a Margaret McGrath, born in Scotland in December 1933 and immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the 1950's. She contracted tuberculousious in 1955 or 1956 and was hospitilized in West Park Hospital in Weston, ON. This is a very dear person to me and would like to have contact. |
