I am trying to find details about the parents of Ida Caroline Smith born 1828. Ida was married in Norway January 22nd 1849 to Hans Carl Christian Sivertsen.
I don't know whether Ida Caroline was born in Norway or Scotland, but believe her parents, or at least her father, were from Scotland. They were: Martin Smith and Louise (no known maiden name). Based on Ida being born in 1828 I'm guessing they were born about 1800.
Any information or suggestions would be most welcome.

| I am looking for my half-sister Isabella(Isabell) Lee, she was taken into foster care and about 4 and half years old but never adopted out, sha had another 2 full sisters at time and her mothers name was Nancy(Agnes) Lee. I do believe she was a nurse at Southern General Hosptial many years ago and moved to York in England to become a Sister in a Hospital there, she was born approx 1945 maybe earlier not exactly sure of year. I was wondering if anyone knew anything on a Isabella Wilson being born in 1826 in scotland. She married a Robert McPherson he was born in 1815. I dont know when they came to the States. I know they had 5 kids. the 2 oldest being born in NY in 1851 or 1853. Then they traveled west to Illinois and had 3 more kids. I really would love to find out where in scotland they came from. anyone with any information or any suggestions as to where to search....please email me-

has sister called christine and brother bill . Married my mother Jean Holt about 1974 lived in Knottingley West Yorkshire until about 1977 worked at kellingley pit . my fathers parents were called Grace and Tom also think i have half sister called Jill .
