| I am researching the last name Paterson or Patterson. the middle name of the boys was Mason. James Mason, Frank Mason, George, Ann, and Betsy Paterson Landreth were brothers and sisters. All were born in Scotland. George, Ann and Betsy (Elizabeth) stayed in Scotland while the others came to the USA. Betsy married William Landreth, 7 June 1867 at Abersour, Fife, Scotland. I am trying to find out where the middle name came from as it has been handed down for severl generations. My husband and my daughter both have it. It is a good tradition but I would like to know more. Thanks |

| Hi! I am looking for anyone who may have information regarding Duncan McQuarrie, alias Brown, and his wife Effie (McIllepheder) McQuarrie. They came from Scotland to New York, USA in 1739 on a ship with a Captain Laughlin Campbell. They had four children when they came over: John, Daniel, Gilbert and Christian (wife of Peter McLacklin), and then had another son here in the USA, Archibald. | Looking for any relatives, surname Davidson, originally from Fife, Scotland. Some emigrated to Mineapolis, Minnesota c1960. My grandfather, William Davidson, and grandmother Jean (nee Alexander) had 12 children (approx). My mother was eldest, Jean. Then Bill, Chic, Jackie, Helen, Louise, Marie, James, Sheena, Sheila, Alex and Andrew. Jackie went to Australia, possibly Adelaide in 1966, with daughters Sandra and Marion. |
