I am trying to contact old school friends who were at Aberdeen Grammar School during my time there - 1979 - 1981. I left AGS to move to Melbourne Australia in October 1981 and would love to catch up with my old school chums.

| My name is Cindy Gillmor (nee Buchanan) living in Ontario, Canada. I am hoping to connect with any Buchanan, Muirhead, McKinlay relatives from the "old land".***My gr. gr. grandparents Walter Buchanan and Mary McKinlay settled in Ravenna, Ontario. They sailed over on their honeymoon in the 1880's. According to the Int. Genealogical Index Walter was born July 8,1862 in Denny, Stirling and Mary Sept. 10, 1863 in Cambuslang, Lanark.*** Walter's parents were John Buchanan and Janet (or Jessie) Muirhead. They had a rented dairy farm near Edinburgh-their children were James, Agnes, John, George, Charlie, Alex, Willie, Mary, Lizzie, Archie, Walter, Robert and Jessie. The parents both died of a fever about a month apart and some of the children went to work and live with the Muirhead grandparents. The Muirhead farm was at Leith.*** Mary's parents were James McKinlay and Janet Hutton. I have no record of any siblings.***I have discovered several small studio portraits taken in Edinburgh and Glasgow but there are no names recorded on the back. Many have a family resemblance and I would love to put a name to them. Perhaps contacting some distant relatives in Scotland who may also be in possession of the same photos would solve this mystery.***If you think you may be connected I'd LOVE to hear from you!! |

i am looking for my dad who i have never met, this is my first attempt to contact him but have decided that know i need my questions answered.
i dont know much about him but i think he was born in 1967 on the month of july he should be 36 though i cant be defenit, he is average hight, we used to have a dog called dio, he has 1 brother and 1 sister who recently got married and she has three children.
my mother and father married when they were young and my dad left when i was three months old,
his name is crawford boswell and i believe he has the nick name cocko, my name is tegan and i am 17 i was born on the 2nd of september 1986.
if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. thank you |

could anyone please help me in finding my blood family i have found some but I would like to find mine they were all born in POLMONT Stirling
richard smith Christina Martin christina born in Polmont not Wallacestone
they had a son called Jonh Smith born in Polmont1822 he married but to whom were are not sure
Thomas Smith was my g grandfather born 1825 he married Isabella Brown from dunfermline
who is Alen smith born 1829 he again were cant find
mary went to Utah born 1831 we have found her family in usa
Agnes died so did Janet 1846
william smith we know nothing about born 1835
Richard smith we know he married but to whom
Andrew born 1846 went to live with Mary in Utah We have found out about the family we have in USA but if any one of this family named above I will be pleased to hear from them
I have already put up two letters here but one of them was not the Smith family I wanted and if there is a family member left in Polmont stirling Falkirk or if anyone knows of them Please comtact me I know Richard was from england and Christina was from Polmont or it could be Muiravonside Stirling born 1800 I would like to know where they were buried in polmont christina Was martin i think her father was Thomas martin her mother Agnes main her family was andrew martin 1795 Cornelius Bryce marin 1803 Gizel Clarkson Martin 1797 |

Hi I am trying to conatct my father's second family his name was samuel hay and he married in england a women called lillymay and resided in birmingham egland I know they had 3-4 other children just curious to know if I have any family or stepfamily left as I am the last one left in our family group.

Looking for information on Alexander Cunningham, who married Agnes Mackay in Shotts, Lanark.
19 jan 1851.. Had son Alexander Cunningham
b 1851,he married Susan Chalmers in Leith 1872.
Have bans on Alex and Agnes, can't find them..
