Anyone with information on a Peter Burton who was a contractor/builder in St. John Wood area of London in the 1950's. I believe he would have had at least 2 daughters. |

was shocked to find the surname wasn't Irish as i always thought but originates in and around West Yorkshire into Lancashire, my g g g grandparents were Joseph Tippey married to Jane Tippey, both given birth years of 1808, iv'e not much more to go on at the moment, hoping some one else will have the surname Tippey or associated with the name can help, my Tippeys settled in Stockton on Tees, north east coast of England, any help would be grateful, all the best Derek. d.casey31@ntlworld.com |

I have written a history of my local Norwegian football club. One of the clubs founders was a certain Mr. Staton, who worked at the pottery in Egersund around 1910-13. In the 1910 Norway cencus he is stated as such: William Staton, born London 20.11.1879, unmarried, working as an engraver at the pottery.
I would love to know more about him. He probably returned to England, but where? Did he marry? Where is he buried? Are there any living relatives who have photos from his time in Norway? |

hi,
i am looking to see if there are any descendants of either a William, James, or Thomas Richards, who were working in Burnsall, Appletreewick and skyreholme Yorkshire in the 1871 census.
They were originally from St. Erth Cornwall. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
