This is a little part of my life that I want to complete and if anyone can help I would be very grateful.

I was adopted in June 1956.
I am looking for any information that will help me in my search to find my birth father who I believe served at Burtonwood AFB Warrington England during 1955.
Normally I would not have much of a chance in locating someone who left a pregnant young girl and skiddadled back to the US, and to make things even worse got engaged to her when he was already married.
However I have small fragments of information that I have gleaned about this person that may jog someones memory who was in or around Burtonwood the latter months of 1955.
The person in question was Court Martialled and also appeared in the civilian court.
I am informed that the major newspapers were at Burtonwood camp and also at my birth mothers home as told to me by relatives, leading me to pick up on something my Mum once said when I asked about my adoption at around 10 years old after finding out through some child at school that I was adopted.
My Mum said that the person was in all the newspapers at the time and it was a big scandal and that he was someone who was well known.
That is all that I have at the moment, so if anyone has any information no matter how small then I would love to hear from them.

| I am searching for my Mothers birth parents. My Mums name was Susan Walker and she was born in Nuneaton Dec 1969. Her birth mothers name is Denise Mary Walker born 1951 and a search has revealed she married to the surname Lucas in 1973 (4 years after my mum was born so unknown if this is her birth father) I have found an address etc on 192.com but have no money to pay to get details if there is anyone out there willing to help me get thi information it would be greatly appreciated. They are still located in Hinckley, Leicestershire. |

Looking for birth parents. I was born 5th August 1969 in london England to a new Zealand mother 23 years old and a Danish father 23 years old .They met each other in the UK. She was hairdressing and he was a chief in london .I was a holiday romance baby. I was adopted out from the hospital in Knightsbridge london at 2 weeks old. Signed me over with the name Melinda Gill. I am searching for my birth mother who I know by the name of Anita Brett.
I was born in Kingston upon Thames hospital on the 22nd January 1992. My full name is Kerry Anne, so Kerry Anne Brett when I was born.
I know I have a Half sister called Emma and my birth dad was called Scott but I am told he died.
I am getting married and would like to meet my mum or here at least of her well being before then.

BORN JULY 9TH 1965 at Rothbury Cottage Hospital in Northumberland.
My adoptive parents were called Audrey (nurse) and George (stone mason) Thompson and both passed away some years ago.
I seem to remember being told my birth mother was very young, but unfortunately, that is all I know.
I had the best upbringing anyone could wish for with my kind and loving adoptive parents, but I am becoming increasingly interested in where I came from. I would like to know whether my birth parents are still alive and if I have any siblings. Hope someone can help. Thank you. |
