| I was born in May 1944 in Bournmouth Hants UK.I was in foster care in Portsmouth until I was adopted in 1946. I found my birth mother Norma in 2000 which has been great but sadly she passed away last year. I am trying to find out about my birth father but have no info on him. He was stationed at Ibsley Air Base in Hampshire UK in 1943. Not sure what his name was, what his rank or trade was. Norma cant remember his name but I would like to fine out any info on him. I know that it is such a long shot. When Norma found out she was having me she had to leave the RAF and went home to her parents who sent her to Bournemouth. My birth father was then posted away from Ibsley. Is there any one out there that can give me any info on how to try and find out where he was posted to. Dont know if he was English or from other counties in the common wealth. Thank you Kay Christchurch. New Zealand. |

Long Lost Family is looking for foundlings people abandoned as babies to take part in a special programme which will follow people who have NO knowledge of their birth family search for their relatives.
Free DNA tests will be provided and the search will be based on genetic genealogy. We wont be able to solve all cases but we hope that this spreads awareness about the issues faced by foundlings, and how DNA testing and genetic genealogy can help people with no previous knowledge trace their birth relatives.

| I am trying to locate my daughter, Justine Lorraine TinazaHarrissince 1972. She was born to myself and my then wife Linda Patricia WyattTinaza on February 17,1970 in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. She disappeared with my exwife in 1973 when my ex married Charles William Harris from the USA. It is believed that she has been adopted by him and her surname was changed to Harris.
