I was wondering if anyone could offer me any info or help in tracing my great great grandparents origins in Ireland, I have virtually reached a dead end. My great great grandfather was a Thomas Butler born circa 1820 in a place called Frankpark, Ireland according to family search, my great great grandmother was a Julia Lynes born circa 1835 in Galway/Rosscommon, they eventually came and settled in England, I do believe that they were Roman Catholics, having researched church records in England but if anyone could offer me any help or advice I would very much appreciate it.

Trying to figure out where in Ireland my FENTON line comes from. The family story is County Cork, but not having much luck.
I don't have too much information yet on my 2nd-great grandfather, Patrick FENTON. His parents were John and Mary Fenton, don't know if he had any siblings. He was born around 1850 in Ireland and Patrick's first born was in 1867 in Pittsburgh, PA. So we know he must of come from Ireland between 1850-1867.

(Some common given names have been: John, Mary, Patrick, James, Michael, Sara, Garrett) if this helps find the correct FENTON line this family belongs connected to.
Any help in knowing of this family or where to look/write for more help, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
