| Hi my Casey ancestors as far as i know came from Co Monaghan, g g g g grandparents were Michael Casey and Bridget Comaskey Casey, when both were born or where i dont know, but only child found from thier marriage is my g g g grandad Bernard Casey, his birth year given as 1800-05, Co Monaghan, he married Elizabeth McDade in 1824 in Co Monaghan, the 2nd child of 10 was my g g grandad James Casey, the family left Ireland during the 1840s and settled in Glasgow, with them went some of Bernards relatives from his mother side the Comaskeys, my g g grandad James was a pudler of iron, he married Mary Ann O'Brien in 1852 @ Blackfriars, Glasgow, James and Mary Ann crossed the English border and ended up in Spennymoor, Co Durham, not long after this a Comaskey family turned up, thye lived at Witton Park just a couple of miles away from James and Mary Ann, eventualy James & Mary went back to Glasgow, in 1862 James came to the town i was born in Stockton on Tees, Co Durham, i beleive Comaskey's were already in Stockton and the Comaskey family at Witton Park also came to Stockton as did other Comaskey families, i beleive the strong family ties continued for a long time, James and Mary Ann both died in Stockton on Tees, James 1895, Mary Ann 1899, both buried in Oxbridge lane cemetery, i'm hoping some on out there may be doing a Comaskey family tree and might relate to this, if you are a Comaskey or O'Brien please get in touch, all the best Derek. d.casey31@ntlworld.com |

OFF SCOTLAND RD LIVERPOOL IN 1883.DO ANY OF MY
MCCORMICK RELATIVES KNOW WERE MY GRANDFATHER BIRTH PLACE WAS IN IRELAND.MY FATHER WAS PATRICK MCCORMICK.THE YOUNGEST SON OF WILLIAM MCCORMICK

I'm looking for any information on a William Little or Annie Quin who both moved to glasgow around the gorbals area, They married in Glasgow in 1865 when he was 25 and she was 26.
Williams parents were James Little and Catherine Graham and Annies parents were Patrick Quin and Mary Mckeason (possibly),I know that they were born in ireland but have no idea where any assistance would be great |
