My mother was born in Ancoats Manchester on 13 May 1937.
She was adopted by Albert and Florence Miles in April 1940. I am not sure if they were extended family or not. They called her Patricia Bernadette Miles. I am not sure if Patricia was already her name. I think the link is Londonderry but cannot be 100 sure.
Her mother came over from Ireland to give birth to her.

| Looking for my half sister who was adopted straight after birth. She would be around 30 . Her birth name was sinead smith not sure if it was changed. She was born in droughda Co louth . If anyone has information please contact me . Im not sure if shes aware about her siblings . |

Im trying to trace my dads family he was adopted as a baby his mother was a Doris Elizabeth wray she later married and her surname changed to Hamilton I know she was from Londonderry and had 3 other children my dad has since passed away and I was just interested to find out more about my family I know they may not know about him but if anyone can give any info could they let me know

| 16 years ago I posted a message on here looking for my birth mother or her family. Despite no longer being at the email address I left on the message board, the family traced me through this site. I have just spent a first great weekend with them. Keep your hope! |

| I am seeking my birth mother. I was named Brian Christopher and born on the 5th June 1966 at the Good Shepard Convent, Marian vale, Newry, Co Down. My mother was 24 at the time of my birth. I was adopted into the Republic of Ireland through St.Claires Hospital, Stamullen, Co Meath. I was adopted by the McMahon family in Co.Monaghan when I was 12 days old. Any information would be appreciated. |

Hi i am looking for information on a christine mcdonald who was from limerick and who emergrated to america with her sister the year is between 1958 to 1960.
Christine had a baby at saint james hospital dublin in 1958 or 1959
she soon after emergrated but would like to know if the baby was put up for adoption as she was unmarried . |
