He died in 1924 leaving wife and 1 daughter.All family were teachers in Belfast area.Robert lived in Seaforth road Ballyholme co.Down.His father lived on seacliffe Road Bangor.His dad was principle of Short Strand school Belfast. | Im looking for my birth mother.her name is philomena paula mary gaffney.she was born in dublin ireland in 1944.her father was called Henry and owned a handbag factory in Dublin.her mum was called Alice nee Mcyann.my mum had an older sister called Linda and 3 brothers called Harry,Kieran and Jimmy.when my mum was in England she went by the name Pauline or Paula,when she got with my dad she was married to Keith Dorsett who she divorced in 1970 but had already split with my dad.i was born 20.8.1967.her best friend in Ireland was Noreen Pender.i am 41yrs old and dont know my mum so even alittle bit of info will be of help.thank you. |

| I am trying to trace the birth and marraige of my great grandparents....Patrick Walsh and Bridget O'Loughlin...Patrick was born circa 1830 in Tipperary, Ireland and Bridget was said to be born about the same time in Ireland but the County is not known. They married in Ireland and emigrated to Australia circa 1855,settling in the Port Pirie, South Australia Region. Would anyone know of them or how I can trace both their life in Ireland and that of their siblings, parents and extended family. I have a comprehensive history of the family in Australia it is just their roots in Ireland I am anxious to chronicle.. |
