My great-grand father was Edward Gilchrist Major.
Info I was given by a cousin was that he was born in Northern Ireland that the family was really Scottish and a short while after he was born they returned to Scotland. My dad said he was Irish as does his marriage cert. from Rhode Island.
This is the info I have Edward Major s/o David Waterhouse Major and Mary Jane Gilchrist. David s/o John Major and Susan Waterhouse.
Does anyone have this line or can you tell me where to go to find info.
Thank you. |

I am looking for information about the Donnelly family of Caherdaniel, County Kerry. My great grandparents were John Donnelly and Nora Divane. Their children included Mary (my grandmother, born in Swansea, Wales), Bridget, Michael, Eileen (moved to Canada and married Todd Steele? ), Noni (married Dixon? but died early)and possibly others. Mary married Victor Ewart Rees and, during the war, they sent my father, Michael Joseph Rees, to live at Caherdaniel with my great grandparents. Can anyone help? |

He never knew his family in ireland and we hope there is someone out there who knows or is related to these people, Bridget Malone B.1921, Lawrence Daniel Malone B.1932, Sarah Christina Malone B.1933, Their parents names were Patrick and Mary(nee Greene).Thankyou for the oportunity to get this message out. |
