I realise this is a longshot, but I am looking for my first cousin called June who was born in the Fulham/Chelsea area of London around 1946/47 approx. Her mother was Maggie (nee BLAKE) born Chelsea 1912 who I know died in the 1970s/early 1980s. Maggie was my Dad Harry's younger sistern.
I never knew Auntie Maggie's married name but I am sure there was an Irish connectin as I think June used to visit Ireland to see her grandparents from time to time as a child. We only met a couple of times but I would love to hear news of her and have a lot of information on the BLAKE family tree which she may be interested in.
My own daughter when younger was the image of Maggie at about the same age from photographs I have of my Mum, Dad and Maggie when they used to go 'hopping' in Kent in the 1920s.
If anyone makes any connection with a June they know I would love to hear from them. |

I am interested in hearing from any of my old classmates, I went to Carraroe Comprehensive School and did my leaving certificate in 1984. I would love to hear from any former classmates to see how they are doing. The last couple of years I have thought it would be nice to get a bunch of us together and have a school reunion someday and talk about old times. |

surname: Hughey......My gggrandfather was born in this area, William Hughey, Married Sarah Jane Carr, They had several children: Robert, Andrew, James, born 1841, Sarah Ann, Joseph and John. The oldest children were born in this area. The family emigrated to Canada in the
Family history has William Hughey's father raised horses and had many packs of hounds???
William Hughey was apprenticed for 7 years as a weaver.

There may have been Other siblings of William, who may also have emigrated to Canada.
This Hughey family may have been Scottish and living in Ireland.

I am trying to trace some of my family history, but i have very little information to go on! I am looking for any family members-last name Sheridan in county Cork, Ireland.
My grandfather John Sheridan left there with his wife Viola and their first child.
I was told he had brothers who stayed in Ireland and i am wondering if any of that family or extended family is still there. Please email if you have any information! |
