Hi, I am looking for my grandmothers family. She was born Annie Catherine Grant Nov 7, 1886 somewhere in Ireland. She had brothers named John and Barney and a sister named Martha. She also had step sisters named Rose and Mary Mcgrane. They all came to America and lived around the Philadelphia Pa area. Anyone with a connection to the familys of Grant and Mcgrane, I would appreciate any information. Thanks Jean |

Trying to find ancestors related to William Witherup born C1817 in Co, Antrim (possibly the Belfast area). His name may have been spelled differently (wetherup, witherop or even weatherup).
He married an Anne or Anna Irwine by the time he lived in Liverpool in the early 1840s.
any help would be much appreciated. |

Hello Lads, who are some of your favorite Irish Singers these days? I actually just heard the new songs by Ronan Tynan from one of my friends at work and it is just amazing. He has such a great voice, and an even better story to tell. I guess a few years back he was apart of the Irish Tenors, but he broke off with them to try and do his own solo thing. And trust me lads, it paid off. The songs are so incredible. Everyone should check out his website and let me know what you think. www.ronantynan.net , btw? who are some of your favorite irish singers? |

Searching for any info on my gr. grandfather, Patrick McGuire. Born in Ire. 1830. Moved to U.S. and married Bridget McGee. Pat already had a son James when he married Bridget. They had 4 additional children, John, Mary, Annie, Maggie. all born around 1875. they lived in the Holmesburg area of Philadelphia. So many Patrick McGuires in genealogy searches that it seems impossible to find him. If any of the above sounds familiar, please contact me. Thank you |

He met a ELEANOR CAMPBELL there, and was married in the Year 1843. ELEANOR CAMPBELL was also from Ireland. She was born in Ballymena, Antrim, Ireland in the Year 1823. Both Families may have originated in scotland.
