My best friend was Breda Kelly. She used to sing in the mess when we went out. I worked with her in Germany in 1968. Her dad was in the military and worked in the white house. She had a sister. Breda was to be married in Canada in 1968 or 1969 but her fiancee was killed. Trying to locate for over 30 years! Can anyone help me please. Juliet

looking for information on my biological father(john patrick flemming or (fleming) came from ireland (not sure which part thou?)he knew my biological mother margaret ann hughes, my father was an long distance lorry driver and came to bristol in the 1960's-1970's. i was born in 1962, and i would love to find out where my father is, he did live with my mother i believe at some point in their relationship together, my mother originally comes from colwyn bay, wales,and my dad comes from ireland SOMEWHERE! my mother had connections with colston girls school in cheltenham rd, bristol, and 'avonleigh nursing home, also she was an domestic helper at 'stoke park hospital, she also worked in clifton at some point, so she has lived and worked in bristol. she had two daughter's, this being myself, (margaret linda mary hughes) and my d.o.b. is 09/02/1962, she also has another daughter, my sister called valerie ann hughes, she likes to be called 'ann' her d. o. b. is 18/07/1957, my sister has a different biological father to me, but we share the same biological birth mother, we were fostered from an early stage in our childhood,my sister was 18 months old when she was put into a home before being fostered, and myself, was fostered at the age of 11 days old,we were fosterd by joan and edgar ringham of bristol, we have been brought up well, and have always felt loved and cared for, but there is always a yearning to find out about your natural parents out there.it never leaves you from day -to-day,we may have other brother and sister's out there? who knows? it would be lovely to finally be able to put the pieces of the jigsaw together of our natural parents/family. please, if anyone has any information on either my father(john patrick flemming(or fleming)or about my mother margaret ann hughes from colwyn bay, north wales, please could you leave the details with lookupuk.com thank-you. margaret 'hughes' (bryant)

ELSUM (Alsum/Elsun) born around the 1850s
Eliza Elsum married William Golden (he may have been from the Midlands Area UK) she was said to have come from Northern Ireland.
This couple went to NZ via Australia. William was a bootmaker for the Army
Descendants were often given the name Elsum as a second name. Keen to hear from anyone who has information about this family or the Elsums

Searching for parents of Patrick MCGOUGH who left Louth and arrived in America 5/15/1846. His wife's name was Julia Sanders/Saunders. He settled in Yates Co, NY.

His parents might have been Patrick McGough & Catherine Finnigan.

I'm seeking information on Catherine Finnigan and her husband, Patrick McGough who resided in Louth Co, Ireland.
I have no idea when either was born but they had the following children and perhaps more:
Thomas J. McGough twin born 2 Feb 1827 Louth, Ireland; came to NYS Nov 1846
Rose McGough twin born 2 Feb 1827 Louth, Ireland, came to NYS May 1846
Patrick McGough born about 1828; came to NYS May 1846; married Julia Sanders
Mary McGough born about 1829; came to NYS May 1846.

Mid 1800's- Henrieta McQueen (Ireland) married John McArthur (Scotland). Census 1881

Henrietta- Widow: FHL Film 0203629 GRO Ref Volume 644-1 EnumDist 8 Page 15 Ref-494593 Barony Lanark Scotland.

Begat: My GGrandFather Robert McArthur
Alexander, John, Elizabeth and Thomas. Robert married Allison Sutherland Muir-
Begat: Allison Muir McArthur my G Mother. She married John Burden Bannatyne. Voila my Mum ! (82 in 2005). PS- Alison S Muir remarried a Denoon and begat Anne and Barbara as 1/2 sisters to Allison M. McArthur.

BERRY Thomas born c.1876 married BYRNE Margaret.

Thomas served with the Royal Irish Regiment WW1
He was killed in action in 1914

I believe he was residing in Wexford prior to enlisting.

I am unable to trace his birth or marriage...can anyone help....please

I am looking for any info (or how to get it) about my GGrandparents JOHN MCCORMICK b c1885 and NANCY GILLON b c1899. John was born in Belfast and Nancy was born in Limavady, Derry. Nancys parents were John Gillon and Mary Ann McCormick from Limavady. At some point, John and Nancy moved to Kirkintilloch, Glasgow as their children were born there, Frank Charles,John,Nancy and Mary (My Grandmother) Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
