FITZPATRICK
Is there a HUGH FITZPATRICK, wife AMELIA, who left Ireland, probably Dublin, for England in your family tree ?
We are not sure of the date, but they appear on the 1841 census in England , so sometime before then.
They are my husband`s family, and we would love to know about them. Thanks for any info. JAY. |

MANUEL:
I am researching my husband`s family tree. His g.grandmother was a DELILAH MANUEL or possibly MANWELL who married his g. grandfather in 1866. I have been unable to find her in England prior to this date, and as she was known as BRIDGET later on, she may have been born in Ireland.
Would be grateful for any help. JAY. |

| Looking for an old friend that had lost touch with. Her name was Maread O'Callaghan from County Cork. Thats all I can recall. She had come to the US and worked for a while in New Braunfels,Texas. She did have a cousin named Mike..lost touch with him as well. Just looking to say hello and hope all is well with the family. |

I am seeking information on
Mary Flynn born Co Galway early 1830's born to John and Ellen Flynn. Ellen's maiden name was Brittain. They came from Ireland to Birmingham England. Mary had an illegitimate child called Owen who used both the names of Flynn and Clark. Mary married James Clark who was born in West county meath Ireland, and lived in Kingston upon Hull they had children Peter Clark born 1863/4 and Mary Ellen born about 1868. Mary Ellen Clark married William Stathers in Hull about 1887. They had two children George born 1891 and William born about 1896 |

| I am looking for an old friend from Las Vegas, Fiona Hollenbach, maiden name O'Kelly. I don't know if she divorced or not. She moved back to Ireland in 1997 or 98. Hi, I'm doing genealogy on my McClain/Cairns family who lived and died in Newtonards, Co Down, N. Ireland.
Arthur McClain b:1812
d:9 Apr 1885 Newtonards burried in Movilla Cem. Married Mary Ann Cairns (b:1811 d:28 Nov 1870 Newtonards) in about 1830.
Arthur and Mary Ann had 7 children:
William
b:1832 Co Down, N Ire
d:1906 Madison Co, Iowa, USA
(m Elvina McGowen/McQuown in abt 1855 in Iowa, USA) Had 7 children.
Came to USA before 1855 with brother Thomas and settled in Madison Co, Iowa, USA.
Thomas
b:30 April 1834 Co Down
d:1911 Warren Co, Iowa, USA (no known marriages)
Came to USA before 1855 with brother William. Lived in the Black Hills of the Dakotas (USA) for 35 years before settling in Iowa.
Eiza (Elizabeth)
b:22 Mar 1836 Co Down
d:1925 Madison Co, Iowa, USA.
Never married.
Came to USA in abt 1886 with sister Nancy (McClain) Russell and niece Agnes Russell.
Arthur
b:1839 Co Down
d:20 Jan 1864 Newtonards, Down, N Ireland.
Burried in Movilla Cem.
Never married.
John
b:1843 Co Down
d:8 May 1879 Newtonards buried in Movilla Cem. Married Mary Anne Barbour in Co Down on unkn date. He may have been a stone cutter. No known children.
Nancy Agnes
b:6 Aug 1841 Co Down
d:20 Jan 1914 Madison Co, Iowa, USA.
Married to William Russell before 1875.
Wm died between 1876 and 1886. They had three children but only Agnes lived.
Came to USA in 1886 after the death of her father and husband with sister Eliza and daughter Agnes.
Mary Jane
b:1847 Co Down
d:1874 N Ireland.
Married Edward Ferguson in Newtonards on 24 Sept 1864.
Buried in Movilla Cem with daughter Lizzie Ferguson (b:1870/71 d:25 Jan 1893).
Don't know if Lizzie married.
Believe Edward was a stone cutter.
Some dates from Ireland are from the 4th Presbyterian Church of Newtonards (reel 1).
If there are any descendants of this McClain/Cairns family or if you know of these families, I'd love to hear from you.
