I'm looking for anyone who may know this family, they're my husbands family. One son, John, came to Massachusetts and had 2 children, he was my husbands great-grandfather. The family story says that 3 children left Ireland. One went to Connecticut, one to Australia and one to Massachusetts. The story says that all of them, less John in Massachusetts, returned to Ireland to help with a family business, possibly a department store. If anyone knows the family or has any information about them, please contact me. We would love to connect with some "lost" family.
Jeremiah O'Brien (Brien) b. about 1835 married Julia Sexton b. about 1835
Their children were all born in Timoleague, County Cork.
Cornelius b. 10 Feb 1864
John b. 3 Jul 1865
Anne b. 28 Jul 1867
Margaret b. 16 Nov 1868
Thank you for your time!! |

I fostered Christopher Dummigan over 36 years ago and he was like one of our family (we have four children). We always wonder how he fared as we were not allowed to maintain contact after he was adopted. Miss him still |
