Igo / Duffy - I am looking for information on a John Igo and his wife Mary Duffy. They came to the US from Ireland about 1838. Mary had a brother named Martin Duffy that came with them. I believe they were from Kilglass, Roscommon because it was written on Mary's gravestone by John. Thank you in advance for any information. |

I am looking for relatives who may reside in or around Newcastle, Northumberland. The man I'm looking for fought in the second world war and either received injuries to his legs or if my family are to be beleived, his legs were blown off, his brother was also killed in the second world war. His father was also in the military and at least one child was born in Aldershot and his mother would have had connections in Belfast NI. He had at least one brother and he had two sisters one called Alice and the other Elizabeth (Lizzy). The two girls used their step-fathers surname of Farrell and wondered if the boys also used the name.
Alice is my gt grandmother and her eldest daughter, known as Lilly was born in Belfast NI and eventually moved to Northampton, UK. Lilly (real name Elizabeth Pue nee Farrell and also used the surname Mulvenny)bought the family over as well. All her children now live in Northampton with the exception of the eldest daughter Alice (known as Meta) who lives in the Isle of Man.
We would like to trace any relatives or friends as we know nothing about the boys, not even their first names.
Please contact me no matter how tentative the links seem. Thankyou.
