I was stationed in Leicester England in 1944 with the 82nd. airborne division. While there I met Winifred Elizabeth Glover. I last saw her in mid 1945. A few years back I tried to locate her. I finally found out she had died Dec. 10th. 1947. I would like to contact any of her family or friends. She lived at 17 Lyme road. This was just off London road. She worked at a hose factory. Her fathers name was Edward Glover and her mother was Minnie Winifred Glover. My E-Mail address is. thomaskent48@hotmail.com

I am searching for my mother who I have not seen for 22 years. My sisters, brother and I are desperate to find her. Her name is Anna Mary Lane, she was born in Ireland, but came to England when she was thirteen. She had four children and lived at 478 Green Lane, Small Heath, Birmingham. In 1978 she left the four children and has never been seen again. If anyone has any information or can help me find her it would be greatly appreciated.
