Add a message to this board Boards Menu Search Boards NORRIS, Eleanor Ann Salmon Arm, BC Canada Jul 23, 2000 NORRIS I am looking for relatives of my father. My father's name was John Frederick Norris, son of William Heny Norris and Mary Ann Norris (formerly Clarke). William Henry was in the RFC and died in 1916. Mary Ann died in 1919. My father then lived briefly with his uncle John and Aunt Amelia in London and then emigrated to Canada in 1923 after spending time at Knebworth School. My father lost touch with his relatives and we are now trying to reconnect. Any suggestions provided with be very much appreciated. He lived in Kingsley House, Stodmarsh, near Canterbury, Kent and his father used to work for a solicitors (or similar) in St Margarets Street, Canterbury (I think). This is a friend search not genealogy but, researching my family tree, I think we may be related (distantly)! I have not seen Richard since 1969 when I left the school at the end of 5th form. The school has since been closed down but I am trying to make contact with any of classmates and also the with members of the Bolwell family with whom I lived in Weston before moving into the dormitory. Ideally, I would like to make this search via the Weston-Super-Mare local newspapers but I do not have the name of e-mail address of any of local pappers. Any information that could be passed on to me in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
