I am trying to find any living relatives or info on my mother who was one of the Home Children. The information on her birth certificate shows that she was born Mary Lilian Neill, 2 Eastnor Place, St. Pancras on Aug. 9, 1900. She was the daughter of Samuel George Neill & Annie formerly Goodeve. Her father's occupation was a Horsekeeper. My mother emigrated to Canada under the auspices of The Annie Macpherson Homes in May 1914 per the S.S. Virginian, arriving in Canada on 20th May 1914. I would very much like to know who her brothers and sisters were, and if there are any living descendants. Can anyone help?

NORRIS

Hi! My name is Eleanor Ann Norris and I live in Canada and am searching for my father's relatives in England. My father's name was John Frederick Norris and he was the son of William Henry Norris and Mary Ann Norris (formerly Clarke). He was born at 12 Haymerle Road in London England.

My grandfather, William Henry, was in the RFC and died in 1916. Mary Ann died in 1919. My dad then lived with his father's brother, John, and his wife Amelia in London for a short time. He eventually emigrated to Canada in 1923 after spending some time at Knebworth School.

He lost touch with his aunt and uncle and we are now trying to reconnect with our lost relatives.

Any suggestions given will be greatly appreciated.
